When Dr. Christopher E. L. Toote came to us, he already had the hard part done: a body of work. What he needed was a home for it — one place where his message, his books, and his speaking could live together and be found. So we designed and built SuccessCELT, the author website for the writer of The 10 Biblical Laws of Success.

The brief: give a message a place to live
A book can sell on a retail page, but a message needs somewhere it can be found, returned to, and shared. Dr. Toote had thirteen published titles and years of teaching spread across bookstore listings and separate links. Readers who connected with one idea had no single door back to the rest of his work.
The goal for the site was simple to say and harder to do: turn a scattered catalog and a clear conviction into one place that feels like the author — and that helps a first-time visitor understand what he stands for in the first few seconds.
A message-first approach to author website design
We did not start with colors or layouts. Kevin, Reno, and the team started with the books — reading the descriptions and studying the ten laws before a single page was designed. The question that guided every decision was, “What should a visitor understand in the first few seconds?”
That answer became the homepage. The site opens with the heart of Dr. Toote’s message — that success was God’s idea first — so the promise of the work is clear before a visitor scrolls or clicks. Everything else on the site is built to support that opening statement rather than compete with it.
What we built
- A message-led homepage that states the core idea immediately and orients every visitor.
- The Ten Laws, presented as memorial stones — stacked so a reader can explore each law on its own rather than facing a wall of text.
- A unified library that gathers all thirteen of Dr. Toote’s books into one place, so discovering one title leads naturally to the rest.
- A speaking-inquiry page that makes it easy for churches and organizations to invite him to teach.
- A journal for continued teaching between books — a reason for readers to return, and fresh content that keeps the site alive.
The result
SuccessCELT gave Dr. Toote what a retail listing never could: a door. Pastors, small-group leaders, students, and seekers now have one place to find his message, move between his books, request a speaking engagement, and keep reading between releases — and he owns every bit of it.
For an author, that is what a website is really for. It is not a brochure. It is the one property you control on the whole internet — the place a search result, an interview, or a recommendation can send someone, and the place that turns a single reader into someone who follows your work.
